The Zayed National Museum, the national museum of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), located in the heart of the Saadiyat Cultural District, one of the world’s largest cultural centers, will open its doors to the public on December 3, 2025. Tickets are available now at zayednationalmuseum.ae.
From Antiquity to the Present Day
The Zayed National Museum traces the country’s history through an immersive journey spanning from Antiquity to the present day.
It will combine archaeological artifacts and historical objects with audiovisual and sensory experiences, as well as contemporary installations.
This iconic venue pays tribute to the Founding Father of the United Arab Emirates, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his commitment to cultural heritage, education, identity, and belonging.
An immersive journey featuring more than 3,000 pieces
The museum’s circuit begins with Al Masar Garden, an open-air gallery that welcomes visitors to the landscapes that have shaped life in the United Arab Emirates.
Stretching 600 meters from Saadiyat Beach, between the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the future Abu Dhabi Natural History Museum, to the museum’s entrance, Al Masar Garden features native plants and trees representing desert and urban environments.
It also includes a working falaj irrigation system, artistic sculptures, multi-sensory installations, and a timeline chronicling the life of Sheikh Zayed and the history of the United Arab Emirates.
