Smart luggage tags : Turkish Airlines partners with Samsung

Turkish Airlines has partnered with Samsung, marking another step in its digital transformation aimed at improving the travel experience for its passengers.

Starting yesterday, December 1st, passengers can easily track their luggage thanks to the Smart Tagged Baggage service, powered by SmartThings Find.

This service allows for faster and more efficient tracking of lost or delayed luggage equipped with a Galaxy SmartTag.

Passengers attach a Galaxy SmartTag to their luggage and can share real-time geolocation links with the airline in case of loss.

Turkish Airlines is the launch partner, and Samsung plans to expand the program to other airlines around the world while exploring AI-based travel innovations beyond simple baggage handling.
